Accessibility is part of the service—not an extra

VORA Uganda is being designed so more people can find, understand and act on information across devices, abilities and communication needs.

01

Our design approach

We aim toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA practices, including keyboard access, visible focus, meaningful headings, readable contrast, alternative text, responsive layouts and support for reduced motion.

Bright colour is used to organise the experience, but meaning should not depend on colour alone.

02

Content access

VORA uses plain language, short next-step instructions and consistent verification labels. We will expand accessible formats and language support as the platform grows.

03

Known limits

Some provider information may describe accessibility that VORA has not independently inspected. Records should distinguish between provider-confirmed details and information that remains unknown.

04

Tell us about a barrier

Email advocacy@cyei.org or call +256 788 886 782. Tell us the page, device or assistive technology, what you were trying to do and what went wrong. We will use the least personal information needed to investigate.

Privacy boundary: VORA 7.1 does not cache referral records, emergency records, Admin pages, DEN private pages, identity evidence or uploaded private files for offline use. Live operational information still requires a secure connection.
